Great video, thanks for this. I might have missed this in the video but did you just plug in nominal values for Rx, Ry, Rz? It looks like this method just determines x, y, z translation of the TCP relative to the flange right? Just trying to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. In general most people must not have to calibrate rotational tool offsets as the TCP will still be correct, although it might not rotate perfectly at the base of your tool if you rotated the tool in it's own coordinate frame for example about Z in your video.
I need to figure out how to do this with Solidworks. I understand the RoboDK side of things, but struggling to create the path in Solidworks. Do you happen to have the same tutorial but for Solidworks insteaed of solid edge?

@@RoboDK3D it’s the generation of the sanding path I need in Solidworks, just like you did in solid edge. I think it’s similar with another video I’ve just found about creating lines and projecting to a surface. I’ll keep digging…!

0:42, My targets translate to robot movements, instead of gripper movements. When i have an opened and a closed target, the robot moves around, but not the gripper.
I am getting a problem , when i double click python programs, I don't get the conveyer moving I tried changing the Python interpreter but then it started giving the error : AttributeError: 'filefinder' object has no attribute 'find_module' I tried seeking help from the forum and from internet , but it seems like there is something wrong with my configuration Help please

when you teach targets on surface how are you keeping the points between each side symmetrical? how do I lock the robot movement in any of the directions or guarantee each side has the same angle ?

Pasting across stations doesn't work for me for some reason. I am double clicking the source station, ctrl + c and then clicking the destination station and ctrl + v. Is there another setting that might disable pasting to a different destination station?
Copy and pasting should work across stations. Make sure to double click the new station to make it the active one.
